Welcome to my website. This is my fourth term as state representative in Washington’s 49th Legislative District (City of Vancouver and southwest Clark County). In my legislative work, I believe in getting things done not just taking principled positions. By working together, the House, the Senate, and the Governor have been effectively able to move Washington State forward, with a responsible budget, while approving necessary laws and programs. I have been part of making that happen. I currently serve as chairman of the Capital Budget Committee, as a member of the budget writing Appropriations Committee and the Appropriation Sub-Committee on Education. I also serve on the Joint Committee on Pension Policy and the Joint Legislative Task Force on School Construction Funding.
